Our founder David qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1980 and worked in finance for five years before joining a US computer company called Storage Technology, which is now part of the Oracle Corporation. He joined as Systems Accountant to take care of their financial computer systems. He gained experience in each of the company’s departments (Finance, Marketing, Warehousing, Distribution and Customer Services) to get a good understanding of the business before embarking on a four year project to re-engineer their business processes and implement Oracle E-Business Management computer systems across the business. This project was successfully completed in 1995.

He then  worked as an independent business consultant for over twenty years completing major projects for large, well know companies such as Scottish & Southern Energy, Dell Systems, O2, ALCOA, Lucent Technologies, Honeywell and the Oracle Corporation in Saudi Arabia, the USA and the Netherlands.

Wanting a change of pace, David decided to devote his time, energy, skills and experience to helping smaller companies benefit from the huge opportunities available online. Welcome to David Archard Business Solutions!
